24 Pounds of Coffee!

The coffee arrived and it turns out a case contains 24 pounds.  Elysia is sending six of them to a combat zone — I forget which one — and the rest we will drink and share throughout the year. 
It is pre-ground so I cannot empty it all out into a bath tub and roll around [...]

Ban Tobacco Sales on Base

A report commissioned by the Pentagon and Veterans Affairs calls for ending tobacco sales on base.  I was just talking about this with Elysia last week after I saw a young sailor loading up on cartons of cigarettes and tins of chewing tobacco in the Navy Exchange to bring back to the ship.
