Does Not Compute

Guess who broke his wife’s laptop screen tonight?

I do not have much of a defense.  Elysia and Citrus were outside in the dark looking at our house.  We have 32 windows on the front and one side of the house, so I thought it would be cool to cover them with orange crepe paper to make the house glow for Halloween.  We are putting up cut-outs of various things — a scared cat, a ghost — and they went outside to take a look.

I was in the act of taping up a silhouette of Hello Kitty being decapitated.

The laptop was on the couch.  I leaned over it and lost my balance.  It slipped to the floor, lightly.

Damn you, Hello Kitty.

Not sure how you’d do this from Singapore, but I used this company to have mine fixed:
