Dear Parents: On the 21st of July 2009, the school will be celebrating Racial Harmony Day. It serves as a reminder to our children of the need for racial harmony in multi-racial Singapore. In conjunction with the event, we would like to encourage all children to dress in their ethnic costumes, or that of another race.
Programme for the day:
- Discussion on why we celebrate Racial Harmony Day.
- Traditional games such as chapteh, chongak etc.
- Tasting of snacks from the various racial groups such as kueh lapis, muruku etc.
Happy Racial Harmony Day
